Apple finally reopens its Texas stores

Most Apple stores in Texas have reopened to the public today with only a few locations still not allowing walk-ins.

Apple temporarily closed its Texas stores due to COVID-19 on Jan. 15 so there’s likely pent-up demand from the brand’s loyalists.

“We are open with health and safety measures,” the retailer says on its website for stores in Dallas at Galleria Dallas, NorthPark Center, Knox Street, in Southlake at the Town Square and in Fort Worth at University Park Village.

NorthPark, Fort Worth and Southlake open at 9 a.m. and other stores at 10 a.m.

Over the weekend signs were still up saying “our retail stores are closed until further notice” and directing shoppers online or to its support phone number.

Around the state other stores that reopen Monday for walk-ins are Houston’s Memorial City, Willowbrook Mall, Highland Village and Galleria and at in The Woodlands and First Colony Mall in Sugar Land.

Both Apple stores in San Antonio Stores at North Star mall and La Cantera have reopened.

Three Texas stores will have limited service starting Monday including Genius Bar appointments and pickup of online orders:

    • Domain Northside in Austin
    • Barton Creek in Austin
    • Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso

For those stores, Apple’s website says, “We are unable to welcome walk-in customers at this time, but look forward to welcoming you for pickup and support.”
