Apple iPad Pro 2021 powered by A14 chipset to be as powerful as M1-powered Mac

Apple has a big lineup of devices ready to get launched this year and among them, it is believed that the company will launch the iPad Pro 2021 this month. Now, a new report has surfaced online, shedding light on its performance capabilities.

The upcoming Apple iPad Pro 2021 is expected to be powered by the Apple A14 chipset which powers the company’s new iPhone 12 series. The chipset, made using the 5nm process, will be a major improvement over the A12Z Bionic powering current iPad Pro.

Now, Mark Gurman claims (via PhoneArena) that the new iPad Pro will exceed the expectations in terms of performance with the A14 chipset. The report suggests that the device will be as powerful as the M1-powered Apple Mac devices.

In terms of design, the upcoming iPad Pro is expected to look similar to the current models. But, there’s a possibility that the device may be a bit thicker if the company opts to offer a Mini-LED display with improved brightness and better contrast ratios.

It is also being said that the upcoming tablet will come with support for 5G connectivity with Sub-6GHz and mmWave networks. Along with this, we are also expecting better camera performance.

As noted above, the new Apple iPad Pro 2021 is expected to go official this month but so far, there’s no such confirmation or indication from the Cupertino-based giant.
