My Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 has just received the blood pressure and ECG update and wow, this watch just keeps getting better. The accuracy of the sensors is quite staggering and the overall look and ergonomics must rate this as one of the best smart devices on the market today. Checked both the blood pressure and sPo2 against two top medical grade devices and it proved to be very good. Top marks Samsung – highly recommended

I’ve had 3 Samsung smart watches and presently have a Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Apple Watch 6. Many reviews said the AW6 had the usual poor battery life. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I’ve been getting more than 3 days user out of a single charge. I prefer the AW6. I don’t think I’ll return to more traditional watches due the multiple functionality of smart watches.

I can access 3 email accounts from my watch and get notifications when something come in to any of the accounts. Weather at a glance and extended forcast with one touch, podcast, ebooks, music, google maps, bluetooth mouse for any device, calculator, voice memos, camera remote, control connected device using tasker, flashlight, make or answer calls..
In terms of productivity, I have a surface pro wtith lte for mobile prodictivity. My phone barely gets used.

Are smartwatches necessity? No. Are they convenient? Yeah, they kinda are. Reading notifications and info on wrist without having to take phone out of pocket is pretty convenient. Silencing phone by placing palm of hand over watch face so you’re not fiddling phone around as well. Being able to answer important call even if phone is on other end of house, but they connect through home WiFi seamlessly is also very convenient. And other extras like fall detection and heart monitoring. Seems gimmicky, but if it can save even 1 life it’s cool. You can totally live without one, but they can be convenient. I still like my mechanical watches a bit more tho 😀 The mechanical ticking and not having to charge it every day or even ever is neat.

Also you get some health features that are neat. And for some that want more, they could have dedicated model (Garmin, Polar, Suunto and so on)
350128No wonder how Samsung has lost some sell share in it. Some ppl were tired of Samsung high end price and then switched, therefore bought an Apple Watch even if it’s not “that” great (battery life is still a problem right now) and on the other end, they launched a Watch3 with announced features that weren’t available (And yet, promised on previous iteration) and only came 8-9 months later (Right now, actually). On top of that : Crazy launch price that are now at kinda okay and selling. For example you can have the 45 mm model for 289 with a 50 refund, so 239 and that’s form the 459 price at launch …

Shady69, 15 hours ago To this day i still can’t understand whats the point of smartwatches or sport bands (lik… morei personally find it really useful. i usually don’t like carrying my phone everywhere (does not apply to everyone) so i can just wear the watch and i can reply to texts/emails, and i can track my runs and other workouts, make calls, and stream music etc. i know there are sport bands that can also do this and are much cheaper, but i think it just comes down to what u want (or something)

The sport bands i can understand them if they were targeted at athletes or people that do sports more than once every few weeks, but the wrong people are buying them just so they can show off how “tech savvy” they are.
The smartwatch i really don’t understand why they exist, the screen is very small to do anything productive with them, you would need to have baby fingers to actually be able to type anything…etc.
