AT&T is handing out 6-month Stadia Pro subscriptions to eligible 5G and Fiber internet customers

Google gave its Stadia cloud gaming service a much-needed shot in the arm yesterday by announcing that it was coming to Android TV on June 23, and now we have AT&T giving a 6-month subscription of the Pro tier to its 5G and Fiber internet subscribers. Naturally, there are a couple of caveats to this offer, so join us after the break for the details.

The six-month subscription to Stadia Pro applies to new or recently upgraded 5G or fiber internet customers and eligible wireless customers who either buy or upgrade to a 5G handset from June 9th onwards. If you need the hardware to make the most of the Stadia Pro subscription, you can grab the Stadia Premiere Edition from AT&T for just $20, giving you an $80 saving on the Stadia Controller and Chromecast Ultra combo. If eligible, it’s a cheap way to game online or perhaps a great present to keep the kids busy for a while.

For Google, it seems like another plan to try and boost Stadia’s numbers in the face of growing concern over the search giant’s commitment to the gaming service.

The Stadia Pro offer goes live on June 9th whereby you’ll need to head over to AT&T (link below) to check if you are eligible for it.
