Best Android Phones Under $300

These are the best Android phones under $300 worth buying in 2019. Smartphones continue to get more and more expensive, but those high-price devices aren’t your only option. If you don’t have $900 to spend on the latest Galaxy S10, try one of these instead. Budget Android phones that don’t cost an arm and a leg.

Buyers no longer want to pay top dollar or sign a new 2-year contract. Instead, they’re looking for great phones that are affordable. And lately, manufacturers have focused on delivering exactly that.

If you’re like a lot of people looking for a cheaper route, or simply don’t need to spend a bunch, these are the phones to consider. We recommend devices that deliver nearly the same experience as more expensive ones but at a lower price.

Be careful though, as cheap Android phones sold through carriers typically offer the bare minimum specs. They’re missing key features or have older and outdated software. Another way to cut costs on a smartphone is the display. Most budget phones have very poor screens or low resolution. Those are the phones you want to avoid, and what we avoid in our roundup.

Our suggestions all cost under $300 but are still good enough to recommend. No, you won’t get a curved display like the Galaxy S10+, but you can come close. Including a pre-owned Galaxy S8 for only $249. Basically, these phones are a lot better than you’d expect and still deliver a great experience.

Moto G7

Moto G7

While there are several great Android phones for under $300, in our opinion the Moto G7 is your best bet. It’s a great all-around phone with almost no compromises. Plus, you can get different variants of the G7 for as low as $249.

The Moto G7 has a big 6.2-inch Full HD display that looks great and has smaller bezels than the iPhone Xs. Including a TINY water-drop notch for the front camera. Then, the phone has a brushed metal finish that looks and feels good. It looks like a Galaxy S9 on the back, except for that big round camera lens. You’re getting a decent 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and DUAL 12MP cameras. No, it can’t take photos like an iPhone X or Pixel Galaxy S10, but it’s close. For the price, this phone is hard to beat.

Buy it Now for $299 at Motorola or on Amazon for $299

Additionally, you can get the Moto G7 Power with a 5,000 mAh battery for $249, or even last years Moto G6 for a pretty great price. They’re some of the best price/performance phones in the industry.
