Best Ways to Spend Your Galaxy S21 Pre-Order Credit

The Samsung Galaxy S21 is currently available for pre-order, but there’s a great reason for people beyond die-hard fans to order it early. Samsung is offering up to $200 worth of credit to anyone who pre-orders a phone in the Galaxy S21 series from the Samsung website. That’s money that could be put toward all sorts of things that will make your S21 experience even better.

The amount of money you get depends on the Galaxy S21 model you buy. If you get the standard Galaxy S21, you’ll get $100 worth of credit. Buy a Galaxy S21+ and you will get $150. And the purchase of a Galaxy S21 Ultra will net you the full $200. Pre-orders are open until January 28.

Not quite sure what to spend your credit on? Here are some recommendations.

    Samsung 25W Travel Adapter ($20)

Have you heard? Apple has stopped shipping a charger with the iPhone. Good thing you bought a Galaxy! Just kidding! After mocking Apple’s decision, Samsung has made the same move — so if you want to charge your phone and don’t already have an adapter to use, you may want to buy one. Thankfully, the one that Samsung sells is high-quality, offering a 25-watt charging speed in a slim and stylish design. And because it uses USB-C, it matches up with the cable that comes in the box with your S21.

    Samsung Wireless Charger ($40)

Maybe you’d prefer a more convenient take on charging, in which case it’s worth getting a wireless charger instead. Samsung’s standard wireless charger comes in black or white, plus it’s relatively small and slim, meaning that it should look great on any desk, table, or nightstand. The charger supports wireless charging at up to 9W, which should be fast enough for most users.

    Samsung Leather Cover ($50)

The Samsung Galaxy S21 is a beauty, but you still want to keep it safe — which means you’ll have to get a case for it. Samsung’s first-party leather case is really nice. It’s available in black or brown leather, and you can get it for any of the three Galaxy S21 models. It’s not the cheapest case out there, but hey, if you’re spending a lot on a phone, it’s worth investing that extra bit to keep it scratch-free.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra supports Samsung’s S Pen stylus, but if you want to take advantage of that support, you’ll have to buy the S Pen and a place to store it separately from the phone itself. The S Pen Case may not be the best-looking case out there, but it solves both of those problems. There’s a slot on the right side of the case to store the S Pen, and it comes with the S Pen itself — plus it keeps your device safe and sound with a rubberized exterior.

Alongside the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung also unveiled the new Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro true wireless headphones. These headphones support automatic switching between supported Samsung devices, are water resistant with a rating of IPX7, and have noise cancellation and more. Safe to say, these are the high-tech headphones Samsung users will love — they are to Samsung users what the AirPods Pro headphones are to Apple users. The headphones are available in three colors — Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, and Phantom Violet.
