Xiaomi’s spinoff brand Redmi is set to launch its first flagship imminently at a ‘flagship killing’ price, and new leaks reveal it will feature fantastic hardware.
Since we first heard about Redmi’s working on a new value flagship there has been tangible excitement in the community, and with a new leak of the phone named the ‘K20‘, seemingly for ‘flagship Killer 2.0‘, and its hardware we’re seeing some great specs that easily trade blows with OnePlus’ dominant market position.
According to a tweet of a capture from Weibo, the Redmi K20 will sport a 6.39″ 1080×2340 19.5:9 AMOLED, triple rear camera setup of 48MP standard, 13MP ultrawide and 8MP zoom, all powered by a nice 4000mAh battery with 27W super-quick charger.
The K20 will also use the best LPDDR4X RAM, presumably 6/8GB, and UFS2.1 ROM of presumably 64/128GB.
And of course we already know the K20 will run on Qualcomm‘s latest and greatest Snapdragon 855.
These specs are needless-to-say pretty damn awesome, and are on par or better than its Chinese competition in every way except for OnePlus’ UFS3.0 storage in the OnePlus 7.
We should find out all the official details in only a few days though so stay tuned to Talk Android!
