Cyberpunk 2077 preorder: Editions, bonuses, and which to buy

Best answer: You’re best off just grabbing the standard copy of Cyberpunk 2077. There’s a collector’s edition but finding it now is borderline impossible.

What editions of Cyberpunk 2077 are available to preorder?

Cyberpunk 2077, the massive upcoming role-playing game from CD Projekt Red, is offering a lengthy dark future experience no matter what version of the game you grab. There are two editions of Cyberpunk 2077 available to purchase: the collector’s edition and the standard edition.

Here’s everything included in the standard edition of the game:

    • Case with game discs
    • World Compendium detailing the game’s setting and lore
    • Postcards from Night City
    • Map of Night City
    • Stickers
    • Game soundtrack
    • Digital art booklet featuring a selection of art from the game
    • Digital Cyberpunk 2020 sourcebook
    • Digital wallpapers for desktop and mobile

It’s worth mentioning of course the obvious fact that you won’t get any phyical goodies if you buy a digital copy of the game. If you preorder a digital PC copy from GOG, you’ll get an additional digital comic, as well as some high-quality digital posters, wallpapers and avatars.

The collector’s edition comes with everything featured in the standard edition above, as well as the following additional items:

    • Collector’s Edition box
    • Collectible SteelBook
    • 10 inch statue showing V
    • Hardcover art book
    • Metal pin set
    • Quadra V-tech metal keychain
    • An annotated copy of A Visitor’s Guide to Night City
    • Embroidered patches

The big issue is that finding the collector’s edition in stock borders on impossible. There’s no reason to expect any official restocks will happen at this point, so we’d recommend just grabbing the standard edition. You’ll still get a nice selection of bonuses.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available worldwide on December 10, 2020 and could be one of the best Xbox One RPGs. The game will be getting next-generation enhancements for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5 sometime in 2021.
