Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer’s baby Fallen are breaking the internet

There will be plenty of new activities and loot for players to engage with in Destiny 2’s Season of the Splicer, but the thing that has players more hyped than anything else for the new season is the possibility that they’ll get to see baby Eliksni (more commonly referred to as Fallen) in-game. In the official trailer for Season of the Splicer, a Fallen from the House of Light (a group of Fallen allied with the Guardians) is shown carrying three baby Fallen, all of which are striking adorable poses with their stubby, short arms and tiny mandibles. This immediately overwhelmed many fans with a cuteness overload, prompting them to take to social media to gush about the precious little beans.

One of my favorite things about the baby Fallen craze is just how much awesome fanart people have made in less than 24 hours after the trailer’s release. Check out some of my favorite pieces from talented Destiny fans below:

Twitter user @amber_ui even crocheted a baby Fallen with a cute little blue shirt, which is both hilarious and awesome. Have a look:

Overall, I think the community’s response to the baby Fallen in the trailer is fantastic, and I hope that players will have an opportunity to see baby Fallen in Season of the Splicer, which arrives on May 11, 2021. Its season pass is expected to cost $10, like passes from previous seasons.

What’s the best baby Fallen fanart you’ve seen so far? Let me know. The latest Destiny 2 expansion, Destiny 2: Beyond Light, is available now for $40 on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. The base game is free, so if you want to try Destiny 2 out before buying expansions or season passes, you can do so.
