Disney+ is great at keeping the young and old kids entertained but if you’ve hankered for something aimed at adults there really hasn’t been much in the inventory for users outside of the US. That’s all changed as of today, though, because the Star app brings a veritable ton of adult-friendly content to Disney+ subscribers in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
The Star app brings TV shows and movies from Disney Television Studios, FX, 20th Century Studios, and 20th Television, to the following countries:

- Ireland
- France
- Germany
- Italy
- Spain
- Austria
- Switzerland
- Portugal
- Belgium
- Luxembourg
- The Netherlands
- Norway
- Sweden
- Denmark
- Finland
- Iceland
The addition of the content means that in the UK the monthly subscription will get a bump from £5.99 to £7.99 (from £60 to £80 per annum), which takes it into Netflix and Prime Video territory. Current subscribers will see the price increase from August 23rd.
