Ed Reed Foundation provides meal for SEED School of Maryland

BALTIMORE — More than 400 meals were handed out to families with the Seed School of Maryland.

This is thanks to former Ravens Safety Ed Reed.

This the 10th year Reed has held this Thanksgiving distribution there. This year families drove through to get what they needed.

“We certainly know how important it is during this pandemic for families to have their needs met we’re hoping that this meal will close the gap for many of our families and we ask that they be safe this thanksgiving,” Kirk Sykes from Seed School of Maryland. “We are being asked to social distance. This is just a small token to help many of the families who will need help this year.”

A team of Baltimore City firefighters volunteered their time to assemble the meals.

Each meal will include a turkey and all the trimmings to make a delicious and special thanksgiving meal for their family.
