The more affordable of the two, the Galaxy A7 Lite will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22T processor and have an 8.4-inch display with 1380 x 800 resolution and relatively narrow bezels. It will have at least 3GB of RAM, a 5,100mAh battery, and run Android 11 out of the box. It’s thought that the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will not have a fingerprint sensor.

Samsung’s follow-up to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is also on the way and will sit below the regular Galaxy Tab S7 in terms of spec and price. The Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, as it’s known, will come with an S Pen, which can be housed internally on the accompanying case, as shown in the images above which come courtesy of Evan Blass. Thought to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750 processor, the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite will sport a mammoth 12.4-inch LCD display and no, Samsung doesn’t appear to be developing a smaller variant.

From the images, it’s possible to ascertain that there’s a USB-C port, stereo speakers and that the S Pen will attach magnetically to the rear panel just like it does on the Tab S7 series. 5G connectivity will be an option thanks to the Snapdragon 750G processor, and it should come with at least 4GB of RAM, and run Android 11/One UI 3.1 out of the box.

With Samsung thought to be holding an Unpacked event during June we shouldn’t have too long to wait for the two new tablets to leak in full.
