It’s not often that a brand announces that it is extending the warranty period for new and existing customers but that’s exactly what Huawei is doing with a new promotion that rewards its users with an extended device warranty. Both new and existing Huawei smartphone owners will receive an additional 6 months warranty on their devices, as well as access to the brand’s Music and Video streaming services, with some extra cloud storage space thrown in on top.

The 6-month warranty extension applies to all existing phones that are currently in warranty, and if you buy a new Huawei handset in the period until June 30th a further 6-month extension will be added on. Users will also benefit from a 20% discount on repair services, a free screen protector, and a cleaning service when visiting the Huawei stores in Wembley and Westfield Stratford.

Users will also gain free 24/7 VIP access to Huawei Music and Huawei Video for 3 months. From streaming the latest trending series at home to listening to their favorite tracks whilst on the go, it’s free of charge. And finally, Huawei is offering 50GB of cloud storage space for a period of three months.

Extended warranty periods are always a good thing to see, especially if you aren’t in the position to buy a new smartphone. Nice one Huawei!
