Having recently binged on Criminal Minds, I’m kinda surprised that the BAU isn’t knocking on JerryRigEverything’s door to arrest him for crimes against smartphones. His latest victim is the recently announced Legion Phone Duel 2 gaming phone from Lenovo that bends over backward in its attempts to gain mercy from its torturer. Sadly, its unusual design rear panel that sees the cameras being housed in a central section would appear to be the phone’s weak point, resulting in the Legion Phone Duel 2 faring even worse than the ASUS ROG Phone 5.
Zack Nelson AKA @JerryRigEverything put the Legion Phone Duel 2 through the customary durability test which resulted in the phone snapping on either side of the central rear camera housing. The AMOLED display came through the scratch test quite well thanks to the presence of Gorilla Glass 5 protection, but it’s the ability to fold either side of the camera section that will cause anxiety with potential buyers because gaming smartphones tend to be held quite tightly when in the middle of a session.
