Amazon does good business with its line-up of Android-based tablets for kids that offer great value for money and today the online retailer has unveiled the all-new Fire Kids Pro and the Fire HD 10 Kids tablets. While the Next-Generation Fire HD 10 Kids tablet is aimed at kids aged 3 to 7, the Kids Pro tablet is targeted at kids aged 6 to 12, otherwise known as teenagers. Pricing starts at $199 for the Fire HD 10 Kids tablet and $99 for the Fire Kids Pro tablet (7-inch), including a year’s subscription to Amazon Kids+.
Fire HD Kids Pro 10.1
Amazon’s Fire HD 10 Kids Pro tablet features an octa-core processor, a Full HD display (1080P) with strengthened glass, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a USB-C charging port.
The Fire Kids Pro experience is built for older kids and looks more grown-up in nature with access to the digital store, flexible parental controls, and expanded Kids+ content up to PG-13 certification. Apps such as Disney+, Zoom, Spotify, and Minecraft can be downloaded, and the Amazon Kids web browser is now able to give kids open but filtered access to the internet for use with school projects, etc. Parents can still allow or block specific sites and the built-in controls help filter inappropriate sites as well.
Kids can also make and receive voice and video calls over WiFi with parent-approved contacts and also lets them access kid-friendly radio stations such as iHeartRadio. The Fire HD 10 Kids Pro tablet comes with a years’ subscription to Amazon Kids+, a slim protective case in Sky Blue, Black, Doodle, and Intergalactic, a two-year warranty, in the following sizes and prices:

Next-Generation Fire HD 10
The Next-Generation Fire HD 10 Kids Edition boasts a 10.1-inch HD display, 3GB of RAM, a 5MP rear camera, a USB-C port and up to 12 hours of battery life. It also comes with a years’ subscription to Kids+, a colorful ‘bumper’ protective case, and two-year guarantee, all for $199.
