It’s taken a while but former Google+ users are now able to claim their payouts from the class-action lawsuit brought against Google for the privacy breach that brought forward the demise of the social network. But before you head off to book that fancy restaurant for a family meal you should know how much this payout is going to put in your pocket.

In a nutshell, it’s less than $3. Yup, you’ll get just $2.15 in your bank account when you claim your payout thanks to the lawyers taking almost half the settlement figure of $7.5 million that Google agreed to pay the 1.7 million former Google+ users who signed up to the class-action lawsuit.

How are you going to spend the $2.15?
