Motorola’s entry-level Moto e7i Power hits the UK with a £79 price tag

    Moto e7i Power

Motorola is back with yet another affordable handset in the form of the Moto e7i Power, a budget smartphone with a 6.5-inch HD+ display and a big 5,000mAh battery. Running Android 10 Go and sporting a UNISOC processor, the Moto e7i Power will go on sale in the UK for £79.

With 2GB of RAM to accompany the UNISOC octa-core processor and 32GB of storage, the Moto e7i is obviously not meant to go head-to-head with flagships such as the Galaxy S21. But there is a place for phones of this specification such as someone’s first smartphone or perhaps just one that isn’t going to make you sad if it gets smashed at work.

For £79, you get a reasonable level of hardware with the big 5,000mAh battery, and dual rear camera setup adding good value. Surprisingly, the Moto e7i Power features a USB-C charging port, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack and fingerprint sensor. The Moto e7i Power in Tahiti Blue and Coral Red will be available from Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, and Tesco for £79 in the coming weeks. It’s not known if or when the Moto e7i will launch in the US at this time.
