The rumors and leaks have all pointed to August 11th being the date that Samsung unleashes its next generation of foldable smartphones as well as the new Wear OS toting Galaxy Watch 4 series, but the electronics giant has remained silent. Until now, because Samsung has finally confirmed that the next Unpacked launch event will indeed be held on August 11th.

From the main image, you can see that Samsung is emphasizing the presence of foldable smartphones, which makes sense seeing as we are expecting both the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3 to be announced during the Unpacked event. We are also expecting to see a new set of Galaxy Buds announced, and of course, the Galaxy Watch 4 series that will spearhead the new unified Wear OS platform. It could be that Samsung also unveils the Galaxy S21 FE but it may save that for a later time so that everyone’s attention remains firmly on the foldable devices.

The Unpacked event will be live-streamed through Samsung.com and the brand’s official YouTube channel, kicking off at 10:00 EDT / 15:00 BST on August 11th.
