Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 is unsurprisingly popular in South Korea

It may have only launched on August 7th but Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 is proving to be the most popular Note device of all time in the company’s home market of South Korea. The Galaxy S8 was the previous record holder with a million units sold in just 37 days, but the Note 10 series has beaten that.

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 10 and 10+ achieved 1.3 million pre-orders in just ten days, with the larger, higher-specced Plus model proving to be the most popular, despite its higher cost. How much more popular I hear you ask? Well, the Note 10+ took in 67% of the total sales with an increase in female customers as well as customers aged 20-30 in comparison to Galaxy Note 9 sales.

Another interesting factoid is that Samsung only offers the 5G variants of the Galaxy Note 10 and 10+ in South Korea, despite the nascent status of 5G networks.
