It’s rare that Apple products ever go on sale, so when they do, it’s worth your while to partake. And right now, Amazon is offering up to $50 off the latest model of the über-popular Apple iPad Air, dropping the price down to less than $600.

Once $599, you can nab the 64-gigabyte tablet for $549 in the rose gold and sky blue hues, giving you up to $50 in savings. (It’s also on sale for $569 in the space grey and silver shades, saving you 5%, while it’s discounted down to $559 in green, $40 down from its original price.) If you want to upgrade to 256 gigabytes of storage, the Air model is marked down from as low as $699, up to $50 off from its original price of $749.

Named our all-time favorite tablet, this iPad model received top marks from us in testing. In our in-depth review, we noted that its modern design and excellent performance were out of this world. Like other newer Apple devices, the 2020 iPad Air has the A14 Bionic chip, a.k.a., the company’s most powerful mainstream processor yet. As a result, this tablet is speedy and can take on multitasking like a champ. Switching between apps was a breeze, meanwhile, mobile gaming apps loaded impressively fast.

When it comes to the display, the latest Air model boasts a stunning 10.9-inch Retina display. It’s impressively bright, too, making it a great option for running creative apps like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Additionally, we found that it had great support for other Apple accessories like the second-generation Apple Pencil ($124.98) or the Magic Keyboard ($199).

No matter if you’re using it for work, play, or both, the new Apple iPad Air is the perfect mobile device for situations when you want a compact, touch-enabled experience and a smartphone just won’t do.
