Stadia gets a revamped UI gets revamped and a search bar in the latest update

Google’s commitment to Stadia has been questioned since it shut down its gaming studio but to its credit, the search giant has responded with AAA titles such as FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21. Stadia users can now look forward to an updated UI, improved library organization abilities, and the long-awaited addition of a search bar, in the update that is rolling out over the next few days.

Probably the biggest new feature is the addition of the search bar on Stadia for Web, as can be seen in the image above. This will let you find a title by typing in its name instead of scrolling. The updated UI will also let you navigate your games library by sorting the titles into purchased, free, and Pro titles, making it easier to see what you gain by subscribing to Stadia Pro.

The activity feed also sees some love, and let your show off your best video captures and help friends see your game states with State Share while being able to explore content from other players to help you get to the next level in the game you are playing.

Finally, you’ll be able to access Stadia directly from an Android web browser instead of having to open the Stadia app, as well as being able to delete game captures in bulk on the web interface. The new features should roll out over the next few days to Stadia users.
