T-Mobile is known for its wacky promotions and its latest move is to ‘give’ everyone a Galaxy A32 5G in an attempt to get you on the most reliable US 5G network in some way, shape, or form. The offer was unveiled during the latest Uncarrier event and is officially called “The Great Free 5G Upgrade”, all you need to do is trade in a working phone of some sort and sign up for a postpaid 5G plan, which isn’t free.
Both new and existing customers are eligible to take up the offer of a free Galaxy A32 5G which has an RRP of $280 and is Samsung’s cheapest 5G smartphone. Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 720U processor, the Galaxy A32 5G sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a big 5,000mAh battery, and a quartet of rear cameras that includes a 48MP main sensor.
To get the ‘free’ Galaxy A32 5G, you’ll need to trade in some sort of working phone and then sign up for a 2-year postpaid 5G plan, whereby bill credits will be issued. Basically, if you stick it out to the end of the contract you’ll just be paying the sales tax, although if you walk away at any point T-Mobile may charge you the full cost of the handset which is $280.
On the plus side, you are getting a ‘free’ Galaxy A32 5G with access to unlimited 5G data, even if you are a current T-Mobile or Sprint customer.
