The Android 11/One UI 3.1 update is rolling out to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S6 LTE

Yet again we have praise for Samsung’s increased attention to software support for its vast range of devices, this time bringing One UI 3.1 and Android 11 to the international Galaxy Tab S6 LTE a couple of months earlier than was originally scheduled.

This means that the Galaxy Tab S6 LTE is skipping the One UI 3.0 update in favor of One UI 3.1 running on top of Android 11, bumping the build version up to T865XXU4CUB7. The update weighs in at around 2.2GB and while it’s currently rolling out to units in Germany, it should soon be available in other regions, as well as the WiFi variant. Besides the new goodies from Android 11 and One UI 3.1, the update also includes the March 2021 Security Patch.

If you haven’t received notification that the Android 11/One UI 3.1 update is available yet, it’s worth popping over to Settings, Software Update, and tapping on Download and Install to see if you can prompt the server.
