Gaming laptops that don’t fit the traditional image of a gaming laptop is something we’re very much fans of, and the MSI Stealth 15M certainly catches our eye. MSI has announced the latest version of its ultra-slim, 15-inch gaming notebook at CES 2021 and the story continues to be one of power and portability. Oh, and style. Because look at it.
MSI proudly bills the Stealth 15M as the world’s thinnest 15-inch true gaming laptop and at just 0.63 inches (16mm), it’s hard to argue. This is a slim laptop by any standards for a 15-incher, but the fact it’s also a proper, full-fat gaming machine continues to boggle the mind. It weighs only 3.75lbs (1.7kg), too, and boasts a now traditional SteelSeries keyboard.
Inside this latest refresh of the Stealth 15M is where the magic really lies. The 2021 model now comes with an H Series Intel CPU in place of the previously used U series. Specifically, we’re getting the 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11375H 35W chip with four cores and eight threads.
MSI tells us that much of the work on the cooling system was already in place on the Stealth 15M through close partnership with Intel and a desire to move to an H Series chip from the outset. Minor changes have had to be made with the only real difference being on the fans which will now provide even better airflow.
Alongside the new CPU is NVIDIA’s just announced RTX 3060 Max-Q and either 16GB or 32GB of RAM. Storage options include a 512GB and 1TB NVMe SSD and the display on each configuration is a 15.6-inch 1080p 144Hz panel.
The Stealth 15M will be available in two colors, carbon grey, and white, with prices starting at $1,399, which also makes it extremely good value and a solid choice for those shopping on a tighter budget. Pre-orders begin from January 13 but shipping dates will be into February, subject to NVIDIA’s availability on the GPU.

MSI has its first 2-in-1 Ultrabook and it gets 18 hours of battery life
MSI is mostly known for gaming laptops that push the limits, but it’s also eyeing the popular Ultrabook market with its new Summit E13 Flip. With a 16:10 display, massive 70WHr battery, magnetic pen, and overall sleek design that comes in a few hundred cheaper than the competition, we think the Summit is one to watch.
