The OnePlus N200 with 5G and an FHD 90Hz display is coming to the US for under $250

Last year’s OnePlus N100 looks to be getting a few upgrades according to a PCMag’s interview with OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau, with the promise that it would come to the US with a sub-$250 price tag. Besides the FHD+ display, the OnePlus N200 5G will boast a trio of rear cameras and a few design cues taken from the OnePlus 9 Series.

The big talking point from the interview with PCMag is the bumping up of the 6.5-inch display’s resolution up to 1080p whilst keeping the 90Hz refresh rate. The selfie camera sits in a punch-hole on the left-hand corner of the display, and the eagle-eyed reader will see that there isn’t a fingerprint reader on the rear panel, instead it appears to be integrated into the power button on the right edge of the phone.

The OnePlus N200 5G looks to be a tidy phone from the few details that Pete Lau revealed, now we just have to wait until more information about the internals becomes available. No details were provided on when we can expect the OnePlus N200 5G to be launched, but given the ramping up of the marketing and leaks, I would say that we can expect it to be announced within the next six weeks or so.

What would you like the sub-$250 OnePlus N200 5G to bring to the table when it launches in the US?
