The OnePlus Nord N10 5G is getting its one-and-only OS upgrade

With the announcement that OnePlus and OPPO were officially pooling resources and integrating the code base for OxygenOS and ColorOS, Nord N10 5G owners may have thought that their handsets could receive more than just the one OS upgrade. Sadly, this doesn’t appear to be the case and despite OnePlus deciding to give the N10 5G (and N100) three years of security patches. Having launching running Android 10, the one-and-only update is now rolling out to the N10 5G which will upgrade it to Android 11/OxygenOS 11.

According to a user on Reddit, the Android 11 OTA has rolled out to their MetroPCS Nord 10 5G (BE2025) with build number 11.BE88CF. The update to Android 11 also brings the new design language sported by OxygenOS 11 which should serve to freshen up the user experience.

OnePlus hasn’t officially announced the rollout of the Android 11 update just yet and it’s likely that it will be an incremental rollout, but if you’ve got a Nord N10 5G it could be worth heading over to Settings and Software Update to see if the OTA is available to download yet. Hopefully, OnePlus realizes that a single OS update is hardly loyal to its fanbase and decides to do right by them.

He’s been an Android fan ever since owning an HTC Hero, with the Dell Streak being his first phablet.
