It’s been a while since the Realme GT launched in China but it seems that the Snapdragon 888-powered flagship is finally set to launch in Europe sometime during the month of June. Previously known as the Realme Race, the GT 5G sports a 120Hz Super AMOLED display and is already part of the Android 12 Beta program that was announced during Google I/O.

Updated June 8th: It’s official, the Realme GT will launch in Europe on June 15th via a live stream event which you can view via the YouTube link embedded above, with the show kicking off at 1PM BST.

Besides the high refresh display, the Realme GT has 65W fast-charging, Bluetooth 5.2, a 64MP main rear camera, under-display fingerprint sensor, 5G, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Available in China with glass or vegan leather finished rear panels, the Realme GT is likely to cost somewhere in the region of £600-700 when it launches in the UK next month.

But wait, there’s more. Realme has also revealed that it will launch a new product series in Europe under the Narzo moniker. Narzo phones have been selling well in India, offering quality hardware at affordable prices and it will be interesting to see just where it slots in the UK segment seeing as that’s what Realme phones are known for.

More choice is never a bad thing, though. I’m personally hoping that the Realme GT is released in the UK with the yellow and black vegan leather finish.
