Microsoft has announced an upcoming partnership with Spotify, offering a four-month membership to the music streaming platform through Xbox Game Pass. The deal grants those subscribed to the all-inclusive Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan Spotify Premium access as the latest complimentary perk.
It’s the second time Microsoft has paired Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with Spotify Premium, with the services now teaming up to deliver four months. The promotion goes live on May 4, available in a select number of unspecified regions.
The deal is only available to new Spotify Premium subscribers, enabling ad-free listening and alleviating various subscriptions associated with the service’s free tier. Other features include unlimited music skips, higher-quality audio, offline listening, and more.
Spotify Premium access joins various Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks, previously including services like Disney+, Discord Nitro, Postmates Unlimited, and Funimation Premium Plus. That accompanies in-game rewards across Xbox and PC games, often comprised of DLC packs and cosmetics.
The Spotify Premium promotion, and other perks, are claimable through Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles or the Xbox app on PC and mobile. The four months remain tied up in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, available for $15 monthly, including Xbox Game Pass on Xbox and PC, plus Xbox Live Gold and EA Play services.

This is why AMD struggles to break through with PC makers
AMD is increasing its presence in laptops, but it still struggles against Intel despite its advanced core performance. It’s not a conspiracy; it’s just Intel does more for OEMs than AMD does, as demonstrated this week with Samsung.
The media remotes to get for your new Xbox Series X or Series S
The new Xbox Series X and Series S aren’t quite the home entertainment giants their predecessor was, but they’re still very good with access to all the top digital streaming media services. And that means you’re going to be doing more than just gaming, and for that you need a good remote. It’s a better way to go than a controller for sure.
