Xgimi’s new Horizon Projectors boast a premium design and can be used night & day

Xgimi has today unveiled its new Horizon and Horizon Pro models that bring a hassle-free cinematic experience to the home. Offering an all-in-one entertainment solution with visual, audio, and the Android TV platform built-in, the Horizon series of home projectors also feature a premium design that blends into the home and can project images up to 300-inches in 1080P or 4K resolution.

Both models offer similar specifications, with the base Horizon projector capable of 1080P and the Horizon Pro able to put out a crisp 4K image. With 2000 and 2200ANSI lumens respectively, the Horizon projectors are bright enough to be used during the night or day. Xgimi’s patented X-VUE image technology adopts the 120Hz motion compensation technology that works with the brands’ MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) to significantly increase the clarity and fidelity of dynamic images.

The Xgimi Horizon series LED has a projected lifespan of 30,000 hours, so there’s no need to worry about bulb replacement anytime soon. The Fast Boot feature will get the Xgimi Horizon projector ready to play in just 4 seconds, with a perfect image displayed 6 seconds later.

The Automatic Keystone Correction and integrated AI-powered image-sensing algorithm automatically identify and avoid obstacles in the projection area, and is able to identify the screen area and adjust the image accordingly, even if it’s turned on its side. This means that users won’t be faced with spending ages fiddling with settings and placement to achieve a good experience. Thanks to the partnership with Harman Kardon, the Horizon series boasts 16W speakers with full-range bass performance.

There’s no need to attach a media streaming device such as a Fire Stick or the Chromecast with Google TV because the full Android TV experience is baked into both Horizon projectors, giving access to more than 5,000 apps on the Play Store.
